Instead of IDs I genuinely believe it should be mandatory for every new parent to take a several hour class every year on how to raise their kids and use basic technology (like parental controls) around their children.
I think the biggest problem is that I think people both do not know how to use technology and do not know that their is literally basic security in place that already does what they want without needing government to strip away everyones basic rights just because they don't want to learn ONE thing.
