This, PS1 was a perfect middle ground between the NES/SNES and the PS2 philosophies for video game design, you get the best of both worlds just like Hannah Montana and, if you had to pick a single library, this one would be the most complete, the one where I'd feel where I'm not missing out on anything.

I always saw it as a 3D NES, though there's 2D aswell which makes it an even more complete library, the only one that beats it is the PS2 I think, Sony used to be so damn good up until the PS3 and especially PS4/PS5.
