i idled it for 20 minutes straight this time, but the fan still doesn't come on.
things i've already tried:
>cap off to burp, can see the coolant bubbling right on the edge in the hole
>temp gauge moves to maybe 45% of the way, used to be 50% on the old radiator
>slowly moved the blower from low to maximum
>rev'd the engine several times
new radiator is only slightly warm to the touch in some areas.
i'm not sure what to do.
