>it's 4 the future though
Where are you thinking of going?
>isn't hk technically part of china now? or at least administered by china?
More or less at this point, but laws and policies are still pretty different. We have (mostly) unrestricted internet here.
>night is comfy
It is. I like how quiet it is.

>I also think the algorithm has warped his way of thinking
This has definitely happened to my dad. Boomers are probably even more susceptible to this stuff than we are. Makes me want to play MGS2 again.
>I do like that accent as well, I think it's a bit funny.
My accent's pretty weird but I think people seem to like it.
>buying her a pocky was a good gesture wow
I had some lying around since I buy them in bulk off the internet. It just seemed like the polite thing to do since she went out of her way to get me (a complete stranger) something based solely off having a Snufkin picture on WhatsApp.
As my sister pointed out she's probably just really excited to find someone who likes Moomins here since it's basically nonexistent in mainland China outside of recent merchandise. I would probably act the same if I found another human in the wild who liked Tamers, especially here.
She seems nice but I don't think I could date someone like that and I'd rather have her as a friend since I have none here. I don't want to lead her on or anything like that but society hasn't prepared me for these kinds of interactions in the slightest.

I've used a few in my time but none are quite the same as this thread.

Got any pictures to share with the class?

>very thin cardboard if that makes sense
Did you get some origami paper or are you just using what you have lying around?
>i guess i got nothing to lose in trying anyways
>have you actually ever had a "normal" job?
No, no one would hire me for one. Probably because I come off as too weird in interviews.
I've also never had for a full-time job, unless you count whatever it is I'm doing now.
>huh we got a picky one here i see... i thought hags were on demand nowdays.
Depends on the hag.

Heading out to buy a storage box before the mall closes.

>It would probably take a while...
Asian languages are really hard for English speakers. Especially tonal ones.
>wonder how big the list is gonna get in the end...
Probably in the thousands. I've been slacking.
>Maybe hong kong should b called the windy city then...
It's only windy sometimes.

>that wouldnt be a problem if society also evolved that way
It is a problem. Kids barely have attention spans these days and large scale projects are far less common now due to lack of ambition. Things start falling apart once society gets lazy.
>if enough students file complaints on you, you get fired?
Pretty much. You've gone from being an educator to customer service rep.
>what would you be doing there?
Policy research.

>is ur mother the same then?
Very much so.
>How did u convince her 2 let u do these things by urself?
It mostly came down to money in the end. And possibly my dad watching YouTube videos about here.
>I'm not sure it'll stay that way 4 long...
Perhaps. Enjoy the relative safety while you can.
>where would u like 2 visit in the netherlands?
Just seems like an interesting place. Although I'm not really sure what I'd do there.

>Who needs a brain when you can just take it easy and let AI do the work?
What terrifies me is knowing med students and doctors are doing this.
Shoutouts to all the lawyers who got sanctioned for having ChatGPT prepare their briefs.
>I understand your frustrations now...
I've got three more years of this. Hopefully he'll go back to making me do legal/regulatory research again. Not whatever this is.
>basically refers to using AI to generate code without ever looking at it, not even a glance to make sure it's correct
This surely will have no disastrous consequences.
