Falcom brought back route slop without understanding what made it work in hajimari, Kondo also confirmed that routes weren't initially planned in Kai.
Route slop is also fucking retarded especially when the Calvard arc didn't even get a proper payoff and its main cast is in dire need of more characterization. Really shows how little planning went into Calvard, falcom have an outline of the ending and the events, but they don't give a fuck how they'll get there.
