you are a bit off the mark
content really is not hard, you're correct
it's the pipeline and preparation of the content that is killing it for most people
casuals do not want to spend time searching for groups, looking for like-minded individuals or having to study things, they want to fight stuff and play the game casually
the skill level is irrelevant; casual content should be labeled content you don't need to prepare for and high-end content should be content that requires preparation and organization
if for example you were to do a fate with extreme-level mechanics (which kind of exist, the micca fate and others) plenty of "casual" players would be able to do them and enjoy it
BUT a lot of those same people would not even look at the content if you needed to gather 7 other players to be able to fight it
as it stands now there are very few pieces of content in the game that do not require organized groups and yoship is blind to this
these sentiments are directly from 5ch FFO forum btw which I highly agree with, it's not a skill issue or player issue it's a developer issue
