I still think the first dozen or so issues should've been Sonic, Tangle, and a rotating third member dealing with various warlords and such that had sprung up after Eggman's defeat. Something to lay down a rogues' gallery (something IDW desperately needs), do some world building on 'Sonic's world', and let the audience get to know Tangle and how she bounces off Sonic and co.
