It would make it more like ER where Mei has scenes with all of them, but ER has many other flaws. In other words, it just bumps Amphoreus up to par with the crappy arc Amphoreus is based on. We'd be better but still not an improvement. How the fuck do you have years more experience and are rewriting an arc you've wrote before, and make it notably worse than the first time? Retaining almost all the flaws, missing the positives, then having new flaws.
