People wonder how the writers of that game managed to predict so much of what was to come, but in reality, they just read a bunch of online conpiracy theories and put them in the game purely for lolz since conspiracy theories were in vogue because of The X-Files. Turns out there might have been something to those wacky conspiracy theories after all. Whoops!

Then they made Invisible War and wrote everything from scratch, their seed oil and grain-fed brains having to come up with on their own some ascended master worldview for JC Denton merged with Helios to bestow upon the new protagonist, and just defaulted to globohomo communism like the bugmen they are. Yuck!

i'm not sure that there are any games which actually are truly "schizophrenia-core" other than deus ex 1

there are "schizoid-core" games which embody extreme loneliness/isolation (eg. Transcendence or Subnautica)

there are "schizo-core" games which embody some of the cultural misapprehensions about schizophrenia and basically look like LSD trips (eg. Hylics)

but there aren't any games aside from original deus ex which embody feelings of hypertrophic threat awareness, perceiving threats that are invisible to the public, uncovering complicated antisocial scheming by authority figures (governments, corporations, cults, etc)
only deus ex 1 comes to mind

I remember that dude who bought $1 Great Value pizzas and sold them as artisan handcrafted pizzas for $8 or whatever, just added a few toppings lol. The funny thing is, that's what 95% of products in stores do anyway. Takes $1 to manufacture and they sell it for $8.
