Don't listen to the talent bros.
Talent doesn't exist. The fighting game gene isn't real
Maybe your learning curve might be different based on a number of factors
But grinding by playing isn't really enough. you need to study the genre and the game as a whole
I would say like 60% play and 40% study.
Not just combos and dumb shit, but matchups, spacing knowledge, awareness, etc
Also learn to not tilt and learn how to study your replays
