Just remember that instead of this slop, we could have gotten a series about aliens loose in future nyc, colonial marines attempting to contain them and the subway tunnels being turned into a giant hive.
This is just further proof that alien only works as a bug hunt.

I just want a fun bug hunt with likable characters and Aliens on earth was the perfect setting for such a thing. Everything about this show is just so disappointing, to say nothing of how awful so many of the effect shots look + the horrible rubber alien suit that at times looks like something out of an awful fan film.

I just think that both elevated horror and action-horror can co-exist. Alien is not a franchise that works well with pretentiousness, it works best as a bug hunt.
A squad of colonial marines would be much more interesting to follow, rather than some androids with the brains of children.
