What is kind of immersion breaking within within this last episode, was that the handheld camera had such a poor image quality, as if recording with handheld home vhs from the 90s, but the synths have much smaller head, and two eye cameras within, which are supposedly recording in better quality. It's not that high tech tiny camera tech, and crappy consumer products can't simultaneously exist, but a trillionaire's secret reserach facility would have access to better cameras for research. Also the synths eyes record everything, so using a camera as well is kind of redundant, because instead of staring directly at the procedure, recording it, the synth will stare at the camera, and have a recording of that instead.

Originally the facehugger was supposed to insert a tadpole like organism.
Then Covenant and Prometheus happened, and it became the black goo inserted into the host which then made the Tadpole from the hosts own cells (backed up with the Aliens RPG rulebooks which I have sat on my shelves).
Now we're back to the Tadpole being inserted by the facehugger again? But the black mottled flesh and goop could be considered to be either fluids from inside the facehugger? Or is it supposed to imply the black goo?

I know the lifecycle of the Alien is always in flux (having a queen -vs- ovomorphing) because the canon keeps changing but for fuck sake this is just getting annoying now.
