SHE WAS A TOP LANER THAT COULD MAYBE FLEX MID THAT PLAYED AS A SOMEWHAT TANKY POKE AND RUN CHAMPION, LIKE LILLIA TOP MADE INTO AN ACTUAL CHAMPION
This was STILL a thing after release, it didn't change until her many adjustments/small reworks that shifted the champion to a different direction.
Now she's a mix of a burst/assassin mid mage, very similar to Vex.
