I just reinstalled the game yesterday, I think my mmr is still really low because I haven't played in years.

I can basically play an ADC in support role while doing magic damage and having a "fuck you Yasuo"-button. Mid lane feels like cock and ball torture nowadays, you NEED to play in tandem with your jungler to do literally anything and if your jungler refuses/exclusively goes top or some dumb shit you're basically fucked and have to play from a horrible position until hopefully/ideally hit your power spike, if you do at all.

I'm the OG Dota 1 (WC3 Custom Game) player from like 2 weeks ago who started playing league and had asked for some character advice from people.

I hit ranked level 41 \o/ but I'm really really struggling in games now. I started off playing Briar in the Jungle role, then switched to Naafiri (I like dogs), and then played a lot of Kai'Sa games but I've been losing a lot

I believe I'm something like 19 ranked wins and 30 ranked losses.

Is there something I'm missing? I've jumped around on a lot of different characters and I can't seem to lock down on a proper role or playstyle any more or even character. I don't feel impactful or that I die far too much (I'm dying around 10 times a game and I'm getting around 5/6 kills a game). Perhaps too aggressive but that's sort of how I like to play but that doesn't seem to reward me ever.

I've got some token free currency and I bought a bit of RP for some cosmetics, I didn't want to buy too much but there's some skins that are pretty or that I liked the look of. I'm just really struggling.

Kai'Sa is weak early, if you want to be aggressive play something else. Also bot lane is decided by the support, unless you're smurfing you're kind of just along for the ride. If you want to fight a lot I would recommend playing an early game champ toplane like Renekton or Sett.

People confound the act of not directly "playing to win" as being the polar opposite and just "playing for fun" and running down games and whatever but those are just two extremes. It's a game. Seeing as how Briar is one of your highest masteries, in HER case that's normal. She'll naturally be dying a bunch throughout games. Yes there are some games out of your control, but that is once again skill level dependent. There are games that challengers will lose in. But at the same time, challenger players will climb to GM+ with a 70% winrate on alts.

what server do you normally play on? kaisa is one of the most difficult adcs to play, especially for a new player without experience playing adc to begin with. if you want to play adc I recommend Miss Fortune, Sivir, Jinx or Jhin to get the fundamentals locked down. These champions all thrive on being in the back of the team, taking cover behind their teammates and dealing damage from a distance, as opposed to Kaisa who thrives on engaging with her team, ulting past the enemy team and being sort of a secondary assassin

If you've played dota you should know that you're gonna lose a lot when learning a game like this, you're absorbing insane amounts of information every game and it's gonna take several games for that shit to stick.
I would recommend just playing whatever you find cool or fun, maybe see some streams so you can see more champions being played at a good level in order to see their performance and how they move and work in good hands. Seeing some youtube videos so you can start absorbing key information and terms faster wouldn't be a bad idea.
Unlike most dota Dota heroes this game is VERY micro and matchup intensive, not in the sense of controlling several units but in the sense that one small misstep or key press can immediately ruin everything against better players and there's an insane amount of mobility options and skillshots you have to take into account at every second, if you played and enjoyed invoker you might enjoy some of the more complicated champions.
