every update does absolutely nothing but introduce bugs and break fixes to bugs modders have created

i'm playing this game because everyone says the shooting is fun. i understand its weak in rpg terms and its mostly meant to be a fun looter shooter. but the shooting kinda sucks. the game mostly just gives you these shitty pipe weapons that feel really weak. and thats the ammo that most enemies are carrying so you'll be using it a lot. most of the guns feel like crap to shoot, its like they still want you to use VATS even though its supposedly supposed to feel good without it. and they made automatic weapons weaker so the game steers you toward using shitty semi auto weapons

Can it be saved with mods?

I really want the moribund world mod, but it is only available on bethesda.net and I do not actually own a legal copy of fallout 4...
