Discussion about the Warrant:
It's almost an okay secondary weapon, but it's still lacking in a few ways.
1. Being a sidegrade of the Peacemaker, even after its recent buffs, still makes it a bad weapon. At 80 damage per round and a 13 round magazine, it still does less damage per magazine than the Verdict on top of having fewer magazines. Increasing the magazine size from 13 to 16 would probably be enough, and leaving it at 7 spare magazines would be tolerable with that change.
2. The bullets are too slow. Yeah, homing bullets is a nice gimmick, but against moving targets it still does a bad job of landing since they could actually dodge the projectiles, especially if the crosshair isn't placed reasonably on top of the target (which completely negates the entire point of having homing bullets). Even in Unguided mode (which you have to use to shoot at non-chaff targets which may actually have armor to penetrate) the bullets are super slow and can miss even if you fire while the target is right under the crosshairs.
3. Target selection and lock-on range are sub-par. I get that they don't want people to home in on targets from 100 meters away, but with how slow the bullets are and how bad the tracking is, they need all the distance they can to home in on the target. Not being able to lock on to medium and larger enemies also fucking sucks.
4. The homing feature can't be used when sprinting and firing behind you, since it requires aiming to activate the homing mode. This completely defeats one of the entire reasons for having a one-handed weapon, being able to fire behind you without stopping. Makes the gun feel less action-ey and more cumbersome.
