This topic always has so much disingenuous nonsense on both sides.
There is nothing wrong with desiring someone who does not have emotional baggage from a prior relationship. In fact, this is normal. Most people, both genders, desire a partner who does not have baggage from a prior relationship. It's not so much being a virgin as just don't be hung up on your ex. I don't know why people have to jump to strawman about this.
It is strange that so many videogame romances feature the person randomly bringing up their ex. Bioware, owlcat, obsidian, larian, and more have all done this, usually multiple times. It does feel like a trend, but I don't see the point of it. Perhaps the idea is to try to make the player feel good that this person is experienced, yet has chosen to be with them despite other options? Maybe in some cases, but that's not the situation with many of them.
I think people are also overlooking romances in which the person is experienced or used to be "slutty", yet does find genuine love and healthy relationship with the player. Viconia, Miranda, Arueshalae, Minthara, Shadowheart, Lae'zel, and many others have had lots of sex or are sexually atypical in some ways, but their current romance story is genuine and they find true love. Yet you see people constantly only focusing on the past of these stories.
