/arena/ was the last bastion of old /vg/. /arena/ was the only general left where people actually played the game and didn't spend 99% of the thread just posting shitty porn or bitching about some gay discord/teamspeak drama. God I miss when /vg/ wasn't just gatcha games.

The biggest problem with QC is two issues. The first issue is that just like RTS games, the fans don't want to try and play new games in the genre if they are different so they say "This isn't X!" and then when they make a game just like the older games in the genre they say "Why would I play Y if its just the same as X?". The second issue with QC was the botched launch where it ran like complete ass, and when they finally fixed the stability issue with the game, the netcode turned to ass. When they would fix the netcode it would just go back to running like shit and the cycle would repeat. This shit continued until 2 years ago.
