It was consistently my least favorite subject because despite being incredibly well read I would just read the entirety of assigned class books immediately and quickly and get bored and otherwise did not care for writing prompts and essays despite how much I love writing at length about shit nobody cares about.
Hatchet was the coolest assigned school book, I remember getting that one out of a selection of like five or six different books and it was badass.
