Enough has already been said about FFXV, but still to this day one of the most disappointing gaming moments I've ever had was entering the dark world post-timeskip and it leading straight to the ending sections after you leave the gas station. I thought it would be part 2 like in older FF games where you go to another planet or underground, or like DQ where there are timeskips like that. I had so many questions about where everyone was and who was still alive, what the world was like, what a bunch of places looked like now and I wanted to explore the bro group dynamic again with everyone aged. Some dialogue even hinted things like that cute girl had become a demon hunter. I was so ready for what came next, and they drive straight towards the end. Fuck.
