Why were they, at best, locked behind the cable/satellite paywall of Boomerang for at least two generations? WB/Turner decided to make it less accessible to laypeople for a quick buck and now it's legacy, the significance of which is lost on current execs, is forgotten.

It worked best as a break or timeslot filler for other programmes because it's short light entertainment, not highly sought after TV, so even if you put them all on YT or Netflix now, it's competing in a vast sea of outwardly attractive content. MAYBE if you cut them down and put them on TikTok it might stand a chance.

Moreover, WBD do not care. Terrytoons are even more irrelevant than Looney Tunes because the Paramount are even more apathetic than they are.
