Its what my honda mechanic recommended to me, based dutch bros. If you consider the 89Transalp, just put your cdi on their side (soldering on the boards might have been damaged from pressure of the seat, or change them out for new didgital ones and order a spare regulator, in case the alternator fries the old one on a hot day. Then off you go. Its not an XRV750 where your trip computer is bricked and your fuel pump welds itself together (brcause the Transalp has neither of these things)
