Why didn't Brazil become 1st world country like the U.S?

I was born in worst 3rd world country in the world, literally, the shithole of Puerto Rico is richer than this shithole, wtf! I'll kill myself. I hate what my white ancestors did to me: they mixed. I'll kill myself.

Here in Brazil I'm treated as white and part of the elite, even being olive-skinned and descendant of meds , in Mediterranean I'll be treated as inferior to original meds just because I was born in Shitzil, but I can still pass as an original one if I deny my Shitzilian citizenship.
