Belief in anything is not a choice, it is an event not determined by an individual. This is also even assuming that your will to 'find' god has been established, which is never guaranteed, and is again, not something that always HAS to exist.

Reading the bible and doubting that any of the events in it actually took place is not a radical thing. Is it really fully inexcusable to not believe an ancient jewish wizard in galilee is also the exact same guy that commands genocide in a book written hundreds of years prior. Employing any kind of brain power into Christianity will inevitably lead to people disbelieving it, so how on earth is this without excuse ?
