This is the clearest example of Sonic being OOC because it literally shows something that didn't happen. In Rush he was trying to de-escelate the situation their entire fight. Yet this flashback depicts him enjoying himself essentially harassing Blaze. Sonic doesn't like fighting people when they're distressed, he's not a sociopath like Ian writes him as.
