>Neat. I remember Peter Molyneux' lies about Fable. "You can plant a tree and it'll grow in real time".
Exactly, Fable is the bubble on the bottom right because he did love telling tall tales about it. If you look into the shit he's said that's not even close to the worst sadly. He's scammed individual people out of real money with essentially worthless contests even, just insane shit like the "Curiosity" cube on the right of the album.
He had people clicking a single big MMO cube in a mobile app for 6 months straight, with one quotes like
>"what is inside the cube is life-changingly amazing by any definition"
and
>"There is something we haven't told everybody about when you play the cube. When you play the cube you're also doing something else. You don't realize you're doing it."
So what happened 6 months after people slaved away clicking it? The last guy to click got promised a god cheat role in mmo-ish game Godus for 5-10 years (backtracked to 6 months) and 1% of the revenue from Godus. Well they didn't bother keeping in contact with the winner despite announcing him publicly, and he never got his God Role or a single penny. Godus flopped anyway so Molyneux shamelessly made an excuse that nothing was 1% of nothing.
