I would be fine if the show ditched Andrew Hussie’s self-insert and added more original scenes to fill the gaps but I fear they would cut too many of the interesting narrations and monologues on top of trimming the dialogues that were one of the primary tools Homestuck used to tell its plot. What’s even going to be left of the Troll Dancestors if their NPC-level dialogues are just cut?
