I truly think there is something demented in the FF14 true fanatic that they don't see time as we do, they don't see the passage of time set in years but in how many expanses since and because Asmon was still playing early Endwalker period to that Driftwood prat that's only one expansion ago so in his head it's recent and that's the reason he thinks mentioning Asmongold is relevant.
