Seriously, though. Taeshi thinks (or let's be honest, thought) that Eternal Flame's big change was that Mike stopped thinking he was right. Okay, cool, I guess. No wonder he turned into such a spineless little sadsack afterward. But now Mike has decided that he does have basic rights and it's okay to want things after all. License enough, I'm sure, for Taeshi to humiliate Mike and grind his face into the dirt all over again.

what a total shitshow, and there's no way to come back from a loss without great ape anymore, instead of tuning it they just got rid of it, what an odd fucking choice cause now you see the fact of a win or loss within ~1m of the match starting, and it takes that long to FIND the fucking matches and wait through the fucking cutscenes and minute long character select (it's not a draft, why is it more than 15 seconds?)
I actually thought I'd like the game and maybe even buy in, but no fucking way as it is now.
Maybe in a day or two it'll be a little better on the retard front but I'm not super hopeful.
