What sticks out to me is that people will shout from the rooftops that all ways of beating a game are equally valid and the best way to win is the one that's most fun for you, then they'll claim that anyone who says otherwise is just an elitist who wants to prove they're a true gamer.
Nigga, you are the ones desperate for approval here. If you weren't insecure about proving you really beat the game, you wouldn't care what they think, and you definitely wouldn't be taking your time to give prepared speeches on how toxic it is to claim winning on Super Extra Easy with cheat engine is an identical accomplishment to winning on Very Hard.
I don't personally get upset if a person has a hard time on their first playthrough due to inexperience and uses a strong weapon because their skill can't bridge the gap yet. What bugs me is seeing people run around shaming an entire playerbase and misrepresenting their points just to cover up the fact that said people wanted to prove they were part of the club and are now crying about how someone called them out on not really having the merit they're trying to claim.
>b-but the devs included it
Yeah, to make the game easier and get a wider audience. You aren't going to be seen the same way as those who've been in the club for a while if you only joined when the membership requirements changed. You can accept it and be a newfag like we all used to be, or you can demand full recognition for free and prove you really don't belong.
