The thing is the longer you play, the more frequently you just press view results and game becomes menu simulator.
While watching the race changes nothing, so there's a feeling that you waste your time watching and waiting for outcome that was already predetermined by numbers.
So unless someone enjoys looking at "view results > you won/you lost" I don't really see the appeal long-term, pvp or pve
