I dunno, the tone here just feels like it's kinda bad faith if that's directed at me haha. All things aside, I think it's great ponies bring us so much entertainment and joy with our depth, no matter what we love most in them :D

And yeah stuff diving into Ponka's flaws and sadness can be cool, I've just almost never seen it be done other than mega Ponkfags talking about her character 'cuz a lot of it interprets her as more fragile or non-altruistic than she actually is. All that being said though, it speaks a ton to the depth of the show with how many interpretations and stuff we're all able to get out of it.
