Giygas really isn't scary. The distorted "face" can be creepy the first time you see it but it kinda fails to do the whole abstract presence. Because he can be contained and sealed within a machine. Meanwhile Flowey is so unhinged he can shut your game off against your will. Flowey being fought in a real-time action manner is also adding to scariness while fighting an enemy in a menu-based game is a little immersion breaking. Omega Flowey also looks completely different than anything else in the entire game, different artstyle, texture, everything. Even the realistic suffering human "head" inside the TV just adds to the what the fuck. Omega Flowey was more effective than horror games..
