People who share this meme are usually rich and privileged
Alan Watts, Neville Goddard, both lived very comfortable, upper middle-class lives and didn't have to work that hard in life. It's easy to see how they ended up thinking in such a self-centered way (e.g., everything is just a manifestation of their own minds) when everything in life was handed to them on a silver platter. Kind parents, affluent neighborhoods, freedom to travel and study instead of working to survive. Reading Alan Watts and Neville Goddard makes me want to punch a wall because they sound like such SPOILED children when they speak. Just a bunch of fart sniffers from what I can tell.

How do we respond to privileged idiots who pretend like life is just "what you make it", when most people are dealing with problems completely outside of their own control which they were born into? I'm colorblind, handicapped and have IBS. My life has always been a bit miserable compared to others. Thinking positively and manifesting a better life for myself is absurd and impossible. I actually tried it for 2-3 years anyway with no results.

"LOL of course the universe is just you. Don't you see? It's all your own doing!"

No, idiot, it's just in your head after hitting the life lottery.

"It's all your fault. You did that. Every problem you have is actually a projection."
How do you deal with all the gaslighting, guilt-tripping asshats who insist on blaming the one who's asking spiritual questions for whatever they're asking about?

E.g.,
"Why is life so cruel and full of suffering?"
>"Bro it's giving entitlement, life is what you make it there's no suffering happening except within you."
"Why do living beings have to consume each other to survive in this world?"
>"Bro you did that. You eat meat and perpetuate it."
"I've had such bad luck in life, I'm nearly blind, multiple genetic disorders, orphan, cancer, unable to have kids, and ugly af"
>"Dude you're just projecting that negativity and causing those problems in your life yourself."

Am I actually spiritually responsible for all the bad in the world?

Is everything truly my fault to such an extreme degree as the meme implies?

Did I really choose this miserable excuse of a body and this miserable life full of challenges with no clear right or answer answer to them? With bad people being rewarded and the best people being punished?

The problem with this assertion is that it results in a perpetual state of guilt, shame and regret. It's a guilt-tripping masterpiece. Nothing good comes from believing that everything you perceive is actually arising due to your own awful nature which you don't even remember.
