YouTube and TikTok have permanently damaged an entire generation or three of people, I am starting to think they should be banned outright. Yeah, it would suck to not be able to watch my science and history content, but holy fuck society would probably improve at least a little. Television should also probably be banned, maybe video games too (especially in their current state of basically being permanent FOMO addiction machines).
I work with families and children and it's obvious that normal people cannot handle the internet and need to be kept away from it, and punished if they wish to use it. I completely understand the elites now, we are a cattle race and will pleasure ourselves to death given the chance.

I used to agree, but we are three generations deep into this. Gen Z and millennial parents who were raised by computer screens, whose parents were raised by TV screens, raising a generation of kids raised by tablet screens. It's the blind leading the blind and is leading us down a nightmarish path. AI is making it far worse, small children are completely offloading their critical thinking capacity to voice-controlled virtual assistants, it's insane.
