The war and euromaidan were done by different people.

Euromaidan were upper-middle-class urban professionals. They overthrew the government and brought on the war.

Now the war is being fought by lower-class rural workingmen, while the people who started the war stay far from the front lines, many have left the country altogether, and most of them are women.

It's pretty disgusting when you look at the reality of the thing.

Euromaidan led straight to the situation in Ukraine today. Knowing what they know now, would they still have done it? Or was it a mistake? Would they have said, "One million Ukrainians will die because of what we are doing today, and that is fine"? Or if they had known what the result of their actions on that day would be, would they have gone home and been glad for what they had, instead of trying for more and getting what they got?
