Precisely this. Without beautiful music, beautiful artwork, fun movies, fun games, tight-knit communities, large happy families, you become depressed, sick, and atomized. You
>seek comfort by buying junk food, alcohol, drugs, porn/onlyfans/twitch donations, pointless tech gadgets, collectibles, etc

Don't know about early jazz but bebop was invented by international financiers. Look up who the biggest patron of early bebop was. Where did Charlie Parker die? You'll laugh when you see.

Some day I hope anons inspect the genealogy of given politicians, bankers, businessmen, artists, celebrities, etc. The reason these conspiracies work in the short-run at least is that most of the top level people involved are cousins dating back to European aristocracy and even further to the Byzantines and Western Romans. They have gentlemens' agreements not to out each other. There is "honor" among thieves. The nuts and bolts people are kept compartmentalized and never let in. They have no reason to disbelieve their superiors unless blatant contradictions crop up, which they likely shrug off or never notice because they're oblivious cattle like the rest of us.
