Guess this is one of these things I should have asked a year ago, but it apparently wasn't really necessary for my previous character.
How does input buffering work, exactly? Made the post about dropping the cH a lot after the special previously, the midscreen combo. Just tried it out, holding the H-button while the special animation happened, and pressed it again near the end of it - and it works? Made it more consistent. Is this input buffering?
And yes, I'm a huge dummy dumb dumb.
