I don't really care about the operating system. Macos feels like a downgraded Ubuntu Touch, but all it the computer needs to do is run IDEs and compilers and Macos can do this. The main problem with MacBooks is that they are not really mobile. They are large and heavy and have unimpressive hardware for the space and weight they take up. If Apple made a handheld with a physical keyboard which can run compilers and be used while standing or walking without using peripherals then that could be nice.

Probably the best one is the GPD Win 4. It basically has the same kind of design as the steam deck, but smaller, better hardware, and has a sliding keyboard so you can type on a physical keyboard without carrying peripherals or wasting limited screen space on a virtual one. It has candybar form factor.

Maids like small computers, because they need to fit in their aprons, newmaid. There isn't some conspiracy and anybody can get one of these, but the reality is that it is a tiny niche and most of the buyers are wearing maid outfits. The GPD Win 5 will have a Moe Edition for Maids for this reason. It will come preloaded with cute theming and a huge selection of compilers, interpreters and mathematics software. Just don't buy the Moe Edition for Maids if you don't want to have the purple one.
