The average wageslave has become hyper-aware of what a pointless joke being a wageslave actually is. They realize that, increasingly, the juice ain't worth the squeeze--the more redpilled among them realize that their work is going towards propping up a system (and beneficiaries of that system) who fucking hate them and want them gone. In other words, you slave away so that Tyrone/Pablo can get his EBT and Medicaid, Moshe gets his bombs and military interventions, all the while you get fucked in the asshole at every conceivable opportunity and can only daydream about owning a home/starting a family in this crumbling shithole of a country. Most wageslaves work a job doing absolutely nothing meaningful for a company that hates them and will replace them with cheaper (foreign) labor at the very first opportunity.
The boomer ideal of there being inherent value in work holds less sway now that nearly everybody is working some kind of degrading, useless job with no hope for the future. Smart wagies will start to plan their exit from the system and invest accordingly. Retarded wagies will cope, seethe, and insult NEETs, partly out of a crabs-in-a-bucket mentality, and partly because they fell for the ruse and tied their personal identity to success within a rotten system (and so they hate to see people live or succeed outside of it).

I would argue this used to be a lot worse--being jobless is pretty much considered the ultimate sin to the boomer generation. The only retards still clinging on to this notion are the ones I mentioned before, especially the ones who believe in all the "grindset" bullshit.
