The death of TV mode did irreparable damage to the game's identity. The devs genuinely have no fucking clue what the hell they're trying to do anymore, which is seen in the way the story jumps from cultivation with a legendary superstrong all knowing, all-mighty mary sue master to fucking scooby doo, with no segues in between.

Okay I've been thinking about this for a while but... Bangboo are basically slave labor, aren't they? They often do the same jobs as humans, and they can be both smarter and stronger than humans, but their living conditions, working conditions and pay are always sub-human. For a type of creature the game says is like a family member to people, this shit is kinda bleak.
Other intelligent constructs don't have these issues, so it's purely Bangboo discrimination. What's worst is that they're usually happy about it, it's like that one race of biped naked mole-rats in Harry Potter who enjoyed being slaves and protested AGAINST receiving better work conditions.
