I personally see a garden as a place to invite nature into my home, so I can interact with it in a setting that’s also comfortable for me.

However, that’s not all it could be. It would also be acceptable to use your garden to display a collection of rare and interesting plants, or to grow fresh food for your kitchen.

You could even design it around pure aesthetics, arraying trees and flowers to accentuate your home’s architecture.

Or, and hear me out on this last one. You COULD go full boomer and waste the opportunity. You like the rest of the awful boomer generation could decide to make your home uglier for you and everyone around you by wasting that land and turning it into a flat, hot, boring dead zone.

Why do boomers prefer a sterile desert over real gardens?
