The most unique thing about the air movement is that there aren't really direct anti airs, with a couple exceptions, you don't want to try challenging air attacks with a hitbox because it usually won't work out in your favor, but if you can avoid it you can punish the landing, or intercept the startup with an air to air because air counterhits have full untech time until they hit the ground.
That's why people say the game has "air footsies" sometimes, there's a common interaction where someone will jump aggressively, the other person will jump up to meet them, the first guy is afraid to push a button in case he gets counterhit and just doublejumps to back off, then the second guy double jumps to avoid getting stuck underneath him and it feels kinda like jockeying for space and looking for whiff punishes in a grounded fighter, kinda.
