It's uneventful if you're first place but it's meant to make you interact more with other racers and make it feel like a battleground. Going for slipstreams, bumping into each other, throwing items at each other. Not just autistically focusing on drifting and mini-turboing for 90% of the race with no interact with other players. The game is fun.The game is a battle. If it's not fun, why bother? If it's not a battle, where's the fun?
