Caine is slowly turning the Circus into a torture chamber for the cast. The cast has to escape. They all sacrifice themselves so Pomni can escape. Jax is the last person to do so. He actually remembers most of what happened, before putting on the VR-headset and speculates that he is dead anyway, because you can't survive as long as he did without food or water, so he probably isn't alive anymore. Only Pomni still has a chance to return to her Human body. She wakes up and almost immideately passes out after being in the real world again, because of weakness. The epiloge is a blur and Pomni dreams about the Circus and her imagination might give a clue to what what exactly happened in the building and who the other characters were before they turned into Cartoon characters. In the end we are left with only speculation as she wakes up.
It will take weeks to properly piece together whatever the fucked Pomni dreamed, while in the hospital recovering from the ordeal.
