I did that the first time I played Sun. Using an ever rotating team of like 12 mons was ok but I'd rather just stick to my 6.
Then again I'm one of those autistic players that will plan out their team beforehand and only use those exact 6. I don't think I've ever caught an early game mon and used it for one two gyms then boxed it for the rest of the run
