I don't understand why Lucifer doesn't deviate from the script. I mean I know why but it's just horribly frustrating. I hate determinism, especially when it involves (partial) omniscience. You can't escape it because your rebellion is part of the plan. Even if you're put in a position where you could like Lucifer it's nothing but the illusion of choice because of your personality or circumstances are going to make you follow the pre established path anyway.
