If one person stands at midday, and one person stands at midnight, and they both experience a day, it's true that they both experience a separate day, one doesn't have to go to the other point to collect the rest of the day. There's no eternal day time, one person doesn't experience lack of night, they are both fulfilled by all the ingredients needed for a day to occur.
