The majority had anti pace/end skills. If you want to play it safe against debuffers, either make sure you have enough stamina to tank four 1% drains or to pick a style other than pace/end. A McQueen with 1100 stam and 2 golds had a massive lead going into the final straight ended up gassing out around the 60m mark.
