Yes it can give you a few lengths, but it won't. In Taurus it was meta to have a jobber nice nature late surger, so everyone had one, and they're really easy to pass, so lets say a run had 3 golshis 3 natures 3 oguris. the first golshi would pass 1 nature and be 6th and trigger pump and speed away. the 2nd golshi would pass 2 natures and be 6th and speed away. the 3rd golshi would pass all 3 natures, be in 6th and then speed away. It activated a lot.

In Gemini, debuffers aren't as gauranteed, or they may be frontrunner debuffers for counter-urara or daiwa rocket, or end closers to use stamina eater and intense gaze. Disregarding that the corner isn't an optimal spot this time around, you being in 6th on it is not reliable like it was last time. Lets Pump will not trigger.

To min max? It was essentially the same, there were a lot more uniques which were arguably more hard to farm than whites.
Here you basically only need Spurt and that's it, now imagine trying to get Shooting for Victory, Triumphant pulse and Red Ace all in one run, there was also the stat distribution which many over spent on stamina when people should have spent more on power.

I've been getting some good runs with Brian, her getting bigger race bonuses at the end of her career and having nearly all the important G1s as career races helps a lot to get good stats.
But I imagine she's not very reliable to grind for Gemini since she doesn't get any gold recoveries naturally, so you're relying on fully getting 3 different event chains, while also not getting coinflip jewed out of Cooldown (which requires running a shitty card) or Gourmand (and you might not have the Spe card).

Cygames desperately needs to give global a sign of good faith if they want to proceed with an accelerated schedule

First of all, I want to be clear and say that I have had a great time playing this game for the past few months. However, the way that cygames has handled the global server so far does not make me optimistic for the future.

The only rationale behind an accelerated schedule is to make Cygames more money by dropping banners faster. You can say that the intent is to catch up to the JP server, but that doesn't seem realistic when you consider that it would still take more than 3 years to catch up at a 2x rate. I sincerely hope Uma Musume is still going strong in 3 years, but that's a long time for global players to have to endure sped up events/banners.

That being said, I think that an accelerated schedule could still be a good experience for players. Enhancing daily rewards and adding QoL updates ahead of schedule would go a long way to lessen the strain of the accelerated schedule and show players that it's not all about printing that sweet horse girl cash. Cygames has shown no sign of doing any such things though.

In fact, it seems that Cygames has gone out of their way to actively make the Uma Musume global experience worse for players. Things like the Kita San banner having the original 0.5% rate-up rates or the champions meeting only giving titles to players who placed 1st overall have been purposely left in their un-corrected states for the global roll out. I understand the sentiment is that we will get those updates when JP got them for the purpose of consistency, but I believe that is an extremely hypocritical stance from Cygames.

At the end of the day, I'm just annoyed that Cygames appears to be jeopardizing the long term health of the game to make more money in the short term.
